a very bad experience. watrons dont have a clue. they brought the qrong wine. troed to send ot back bit they didnt have any stock. they got my food food order wrong. my burger was like like a snack burger. the pattie was raw and tiny. The half chicken suppose to uave a sauce but didnt and was so dry amd the spicy rice only consisted of tumeric. The waitrons and manager werent interested in our complaints. food is pver priced i will never go back. menu is false advertising. half chicken came with pnipn rings but some how the kitchen managed to only spare two onion rings. chips seemed like ot had been in the warmer tpo long which resembled card board. drinks took longer to pour than the food took to cook.Extremely dissappointing

Worst experience ever,went there on valentines day and ordered the set menu the main course was out of stock, waited forever for service, the prawn cocktail was served with tomato sauce,the smoked ckicken salad consisted of a few pices of lettuce and cucumber and smoked chicken on a side plate.Worst ever!!!!

Terrible experience unfortunately. Food is very overpriced for what you get. Quality of the food is bad and their items are almost always out of stock. Waiters can’t seem to get orders right and forget about you. I won’t go back.

We visited Zanzibar restaurant @ Westwood mall on Thur 7 Feb @ 6 PM. What a horrific experience- and the staff shrugged it off as a joke. Firstly our waiter was so incompetent - he kept on forgetting simple drinks orders and we had to call him 3x times to remind him to bring our drinks – (Restaurant was quiet!). After waiting 30 min. we called him again only to be told the wine we wanted (Rose) is out of stock! He did not bother to tell us that and kept us waiting! So we chose a different bottle of wine which also ended up being out of stock! So we ended up getting a wine which we did not want, but what choice did we have! Then came the food disaster! I ordered a lamb shank with potato cakes. When the food arrived I was given a tiny dried out lamb shank and veggies -NO potato cake. I sent it back asking to get what I ordered. Then I was told some story that the chef does not know how to make potato cakes, but they will offer me chips instead. My food arrived again -WITHOUT chips, but with an ice cold , old glossy potato. Then I had enough and told them to just leave it, and cancel my meal. No one apologised when we left. This restaurant is overpriced and highly incompetent!

Not the greatest experience - live band was so loud my friends and I couldn't hear each other speak. When our food came, we weren't given knives and forks and so had to then wait for the waiter to bring them, we had seafood and weren't given side plates or finger bowls - we had to find the waiter again and ask for them. The food was on the poor side of average with one of our meals having to be sent back as what should have been a well done steak came out rare with blood all over the plate and soaking into the chips :( Not a place I'd recommend or go to again

Bad experience-helpers not familiar with menu-owner pretended to be a patron and did not assist-his main employee defended him as a customer and was grosely rude
