The Whaling Station Restaurant is an easy 1 hours drive from Cape Town along the scenic R44 or Clarence Drive, passing Gordon's Bay, Rooi Els and Pringle Bay.

The Whaling Station Restaurant got its name from the original Whaling Station which was operational nearby during the early 1900's, the remains can still be seen at Stony Point. The Whaling Station Restaurant is the only place where the original photo's of the Whaling Station can be viewed.

The Continental flair of the restaurant is clearly evident from the menu which will tantalize any taste bud. Only fresh ingredients are used and everything is homemade.

Open: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Wednesday to Sunday: 11h00 - 15h00 and 18h00 - 22h00 Monday: 1800 - 22h00 (dinner only) Tuesday: CLOSED

Breakfast: Saturday & Sunday from 07h45

Certainly the best restaurant in this small sea side town with the best view,nice music and homely & relaxed atmosphere The food is great prepared by the Greek owners. We will only look forward to visit this great restaurant soon again.
