The Power and the Glory is a mix of cafe, bar and coffee shop.

At any given time of any day, there is at least a dozen people perched comfortably on bar stools and folding chairs as they work, read, write and socialise while the busy street bustles by.

The cafe and main seating area is separated from the bar, but the two spaces work very well together.  If the weather is good, patrons can enjoy a bit of covered outdoor seating as well.

Breakfast is served until 11am and includes oats, muesli and yoghurt, eggs, toast and a wide range of "build your own" breakfast sandwiches.  There are also sandwiches, pies, salads and a myriad of other options for afternoon and evening.
Ordering at the counter keeps things simple.

As one of the first bars in Cape Town to stock craft beer, the Power and the Glory has a great selection of bottled and draft beers.

Open:
Monday - Friday:  08:00 - 22:00
Saturday:  09:00 - 22:00
