Situated in the centre of De Rust, Jack Sprat's is a lovely little restaurant to visit when staying in De Rust or passing through.

Jack Sprat's specialises in South African cuisine, making use of seasonal and organic produce wherever possible. Only the best Karoo lamb is selected and prepared for you, and their steaks are so tender you won't need a steak knife.  Try one of their signature starters like the Ostrich Carpaccio or the Bobotie with homemade blatyang.  A succulent Ostrich fillet with Port and plum sauce is a gorgeous main dish and the Oxtail Jardinière is also a hot favorite. Desserts and cakes a plenty are all simply delicious.
