Cape Town's very first gastropub is redefining what it means to be a drinking establishment, bringing you an awesome menu to go down with the drink of your choice.

Far from your ordinary pub experience, owner and foodie Lorenzo Magni has carefully selected each of the dishes on the menu, taking some classics and turning them into a real gourmet experience.

With a focus on sourcing the freshest ingredients from only the best local suppliers, the chef aims to wow you with dishes "better than your mother could have made them", as Lorenzo puts it.

Catch up with friends over a few drinks and sample some of their delicious bar snacks like mussels, chilli-poppers and a beetroot and red onion tart, but be warned, you'll want to stick around a little later once you see what mains they have in store for you!

From the humble Sheppard’s Pie to a juicy pork belly, or even an indulgent beef bourguignon, you won't want to leave without trying at least one of these.

And of course, let's not forget the drinks - this is a pub after all.  Not only is emphasis put on locally sourced food, but the same agenda is on the drink card at The Odyssey, providing you with only the best local selection which is bound to whet your appetite.

The venue is available for hire and is perfectly suited to host your, birthday or engagement party, corporate function or boxing weigh-in as they successfully did last year. Please direct function enquires here.
