Italian food with a South African twist. Known for their wild porcini mushroom risotto and pasta dishes. Slow roasted ham hocks and pork neck are left in an open wood oven to fall off the bone. Their cooks have been on board since Italian Kitchen opened its doors in August 2008. They pride themselves on using only the freshest of ingredients and their amazing innovative enthusiasm results in exciting new dishes every week.
Italian Kitchen is a family Trattoria. Their food is diverse enough to meet the needs of the whole family. They pride themselves in being child friendly, however they do ask parents to exercise discretion and understanding that from 7pm the restaurant is largely adult patronage.
