I used to be a regular customer of this restaurant, but after my experience on Wednesday, I will never return. I ordered salmon and butternut dim sum. The butternut dim sum was so old that it had become sour and completely inedible. The salmon dim sum contained pieces of grainy, red "mystery meat", which I can only hope was pork and not rat. When I queried this with the kitchen, the plate containing the pieces of red meat was whisked away and the remaining portions of dim sum sent back to me with the instructions that the chunks of red meat I fished out of the "salmon" dim sum is salmon. I have absolutely no doubt that there was some form of red meat mixed in with the salmon mix, and when I took it up with the manager (who was very polite and tried to resolve my complaint), the kitchen sent a piece of frozen salmon out and said that the meat I found in my dim sum was the reddish part of the salmon! I was refunded for both the butternut and salmon dim sum, but the whole experience, and specifically the fact that the food was so bad that I could not eat it, left a bad taste in my mouth.
