My wife and I went to Sevruga at Gateway for our 13th wedding anniversary, and I came away with mixed feelings. Although the venue was stylish and the service good, the food was not accurate in terms of what was described on the menu. My wife ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder which looked great, but the roasted vegetables were missing. I ordered the calamari and langoustine combo. The risotto balls were missing and were brought by the waitress after I had read the menu back to her. The citrus beurre blank was also missing. Being our anniversary I did not want to make a fuss, but at an upmarket venue like this I would expect my plate to match the menu.
