After always hearing about how amazing there food was, I decided it was time to try it myself. My girlfriend and I were friendly greeted, service was amazing, and food was incredible. Food could be slightly costly, but if you want to enjoy food of this quality, it's expected. :)

My husband and I ate at Savoy Cabbage this week for our wedding anniversary and we were extremely impressed! The service was brilliant and the food was out of this world! It is expensive, but well worth the amazing experience. We'll definitely be back!

Extrodininary, on top of my agenda for a place to have an engagement party. The Head Chef Peter, what a gift to Savoy, job well done. Humble staff like the cabbage roll and the classic fillet. I will definitely make a turn soon. Miss you guys.

Took somebody there to say thanks for a favour they did me. Well thank you to Savoy Cabbage for making it special. It is my favourite place to eat. Have been a few times , and never been let down. Service good , food great. Wish I could go more often. Worth saving for!

After hearing about Savoy Cabbage for a year decided to make the reservation. Apart from the four people eating on the pavement when you arrive; once you enter the venue and the experience is all first class. Melissa knows her stuff; Frank a perfect host and the chef knows how to cook. I have not tasted food like this for a long time in Cape Town. I also discovered that its been here for 10 years in the same loving hands - we should salute anyone whom after 10 years is still here and maintaining such a high standard consistantly. A very special place and I will be back. Do yourself a favour and look past the prices - its worth it. Phillip

Finally made it to Savoy Cabbage last night after many years of intending to go. Just wish I'd gone sooner. The food was excellent and very well-presented, but the staff! Absolutely faultless, not just our waiter but the other girl in the adjoining section - totally impressive in their product knowledge, their composure, their humour and their professionalism. I think you would have to go a long way to get a whole dining experience better than Savoy. Perhaps it's not the cheapest place in town, but I think you get what you pay for and last night I paid for - and got - a perfect evening out. Thank you very much.

Karibu "Karibu is one of my favourite restaurants to pop in for a dinner that never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed with a distinct South African feel that's both elegant and upmarket. The service is friendly and efficient - I always rely on the manager (Bruce) for meal recommendations which thus far has been spot-on, yet I'm sure the menu as a whole is good......"
