Umdloti North Beach
Opposite the Tidal Pool

SandBar is the brainchild of four Umdloti locals who dreamed of opening a place where friends and family could enjoy great food in a laid-back environment while enjoying the amazing views Umdloti beach has to offer. They envisaged a restaurant & bar that reflected a cool, vibrant and fun place for locals and holiday makers to meet and enjoy good honest food, combined with great wines and colourful cocktails.

All of the dishes are made with love and the finest ingredients too. The food is simple and honest and the flavours will speak for themselves. We have great Tapas style starters which you can enjoy with a glass of bubbly while soaking up the magnificent sea views.

The gourmet sandwiches are served on delicious crispy ciabatta bread along with our mouth watering homemade A-grade rump burger patties. The SandBar specialises in juicy, sticky pork ribs from a local farm called Loving Hams.

Queen prawns, whole Red Snapper, Chicken and fresh salad mains are available for those health conscious food lovers. To end it all off, their waffles served with vanilla ginger cookie ice cream will keep you going back for more.

Tuesday - Sunday 12:00 - 23:00
