The 75 year old Royal Grill Restaurant, located in the Royal Hotel in Durban's historic city centre has opulent textures, luxurious finishes and lavish decor.

The dining is an experience of bygone pampering with a complimentary sherry and canapes in the lounge before being seated. The menu is a tribute to old-time classics.

The Royal Grill has hosted Cecil John Rhodes, H.G. Wells, Rider Haggard, Marlene Dietrich, Mark Twain, Prince Alfred, Queen Elizabeth II, Margaret Thatcher, F.W. de Klerk, Mangosuthu Buthelezi and Nelson Mandela.
