Homemade, Handmade & Homegrown: Root72 supports local.

Situated halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London, Root72 can be found in the Beavers complex in Port Alfred.

Our coffee shop specialises in all-day breakfasts, eggs poached, scrambled or fried, light meals and offers a wide selection of healthy options including vegetarian and gluten-free meals.

Our San Marco Coffee Machine whips up a great cappuccino, our REAL milkshakes are the bomb, and we squeeze our own pineapple juice and brew ginger beer too.

From omelettes to caramel & banana pancakes, our decadent brownies are tops! Any-time treats freshly baked and made every day especially for you! Don’t forget we offer catering for all occasions too!

From Pete’s pineapples, Basil’s spinach, beans and marrows, Corinne’s freshly packed organic salad packs to Joy’s mushrooms, and Sophie’s herbs, all locally sourced for you.

John’s Biltong and dry wors is always in demand – it’s just as well he only lives in Bathurst!

We stock Ron’s El Diablo Sauce, Max & Christo’s salad dressing, Aunty Val’s Relish and her Apricot Jam too! Don’t forget Craig from Springvale’s olive Range... Iringa, Hettie’s homemade range, Charles’ honey and did I mention Greg’s Karoo farm honey & his wife, Rene’s, amazing rusk range!

The Chocolate, Cranberries and Seeds Rusks Rock!

Pop in and meet our team: Jo, Jackey, Catherine, Cynthia, Ntosh and Mushroom for friendly, old fashioned service with a smile. And we really mean it too.
