Just 80 minutes from Cape Town, a warm welcome awaits you at Rijk’s Country House in Tulbagh.

Rijk’s is surrounded by majestic Witzenburg, Winterhoek and Obiqua mountains and is set amongst the vineyards of the Award Winning Rijk’s Wine Estate.

Our Tulbagh restaurants offer warm hospitality with all-around windows and plenty of natural light. For summer, terrace doors open onto the vineyards for fresh, scenic dining. We offer fireplaces with full curtaining for chilly winter evenings.

Que Sera, the main dining room seats up to 40 guests and offers an a la carte menu. It is fully air-conditioned for the summer months and features log-fires for winter.

Mon Ami is the private Dining Room seating 20 guests at a long, high bar-styled table. A stylish and fun twist on dining.

The Iceberg Terrace can accommodate 40 guests or up to 120 for a function. With an overhead sunset, the scent of iceberg roses and wrapped in Tulbagh Valley air, this has to be one of the most stunning dining rooms in the world!

The Polo Bar features a large, restored wooden table, bar seating, open fireplace and a private terrace overlooking the vineyards.
