Super place but certainly NOT child friendly. It's charming and very rustic but broken glass is the decor on the pathway to the bathrooms. My son was badly burnt by hot coals right near the pathway on the floor. Would like to go back one day but not with the kids!

Whilst the Prawn Shak is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food and ambience is great, it is not child friendly as advertised on many websites. It should read no children under 12 as there have been too many negligent incidents of younger children getting hurt by the broken glass on the floor and even burnt by the staff throwing out hot coal onto the sand. Nice place if yuo over 12.
