Lovely ambience, albeit noisy on a crowded Sunday afternoon. The duck was very dry - don't know what happened as the restaurant comes highly recommended.

I work in the restaurant industry and quite an up-market place. We often have people making bookings only to find they're only half the amount they said they would be or they're an hour late. We always try to make a plan. if they're late, we'll phone them and find out where they are. If they arrive later and we're given away their table we make a plan. You never have to speak to someone like that. ever. its shocking. You never know who the person is that you're chasing away. it could be a critic or even just someone who will share their story with others. Shocked at how this person treats people. Will never go here. ever. ever.

This is a dissapointing review. People do unfortunately change numbers(sometimes unavoidable), but the response from the owner is extremely dissapointing. Maybe they should bring in a minimum charge per customer and inform patrons on booking, else suck up the fact that changes will happen. Cilantro's owner was also rude, and that eventually closed down. The customer is not always right but the response is really dissapointing. Between the parking charges in Parkhurst and these kinds of responses, Parkhurst restaurants may be in trouble.
