My hubby and I visited Pirates for the first time last week and we will definitely be back! We were warmly greeted and the Hostess made a point of coming to greet us as well..The live entertainment creates a great vibe and it's clear that many people are regulars. The real star is definitely the food! My knife cut through my peppermelt rump like butter, and my husband's pork ribs were a revelation! Good value for money and great food prepared perfectly!

What a great experience everytime I go to Pirates. Went for a late supper last night, ordered the deluxe steak and WOW, absolutely spectacular! You guys serve the best steaks, for sure. Service wasn't too great at first, but the hostess apologized for her attitude, and I appreciated that. Prices are reasonable and definitely worth every cent. Keep it up Pirates!

always have been a fan of pirates in plumstead, good well presented fare & always consistent at a very reasonable price! Today [30-9] went to hout bay market had snack & decided to go for lunch choice between ocean basket & pirates in hout bay - recommended pirates to which we went as one member of our party very fussy & never been to pirates. We received a warm welcome by a lovely oriental lady who took us to table of our choice. The service we received from our waitress was excellent & our order which was two steaks one burger & one ribs was excellent all done as requested & the difficult member of our group was so impressed thought the best ribs she has ever had. Had to post this as price was excellent & good time had by all
