Peter's House on Kloofnek is the love child of Capetonian adventurer Ziggy Francisco, who's taken a life of travelling - and a love of everyone's favourite bunny - and spun it into a huggable cafe dream.
The food is an eclectic mix of at home favourites and classic twists: fresh wraps with flavour, creamy pastas, crisp quirky salads and, of course, Peter's favourite carrot cake.
It's an intimate space with a knife and fork chandelier, crocheted cushions and your nanna's best china, and when the sun goes down, it's cocktails in those fancy teapots.
Updated for the modern era with free wi-fi and fresh tunes, Peter's House is how a little kid imagined growing up would be: fresh, fun, and always an adventure.
