Disappointed. Both of our guests dishes were clearly straight out of the freezer, bland, runny and no texture. The wines were reasonably priced but the waiter couldn't open the bottle, I had to do it for her. We all remarked on how small the portions were. We won't be coming back.

I hadn't been to Peddlars for about 3 years and was pleasantly surprised when I ate there recently! Their restaurant is comfortable, the fire was crackling and the menu is superb.I went for a steak tartare starter, a dish I usually only order in very specific restaurants.Theirs is outstanding, an authentic nod to the dish.For mains I ordered the sirloin.Perfectly done to my medium-rare specifications with a side of hand cut fries (I mean who hand cuts fries anymore?), it was honestly one of the best steaks I've had.The other 3 people at my table were equally pleased with their beef carpaccios, salads, calamari, etc. Wine list is generous although it lacks some of the valley's better wines.Service was professional and warm.We'll definitely be back!
