Restaurant image
The African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel is proudly African and this reflects in all areas of the March Restaurant, from luxurious food offerings to efficient and award winning service. This dining experience is complimented by Chef Hanroe’s “African Inspired Cuisine”.

The restaurant not only boasts an award winning Chef and award winning service but also four innovative and creative private dining rooms based around the concepts of communication, cameras, soda siphons and music.

Chef Hanroe’s March Breakfast boasts extensive offerings like 3 whole hams’, duck, chicken or quail eggs, a bacon selection from ostrich bacon, streaky pork bacon, pork shoulder bacon or macon, oysters, caviar and Cap Classique as his drink of choice. The Chef ensures that he only offers the best to his valued guests and his aim is to get the March Breakfast known as the best breakfast in Gauteng.

March Restaurant recently won the very prestigious and sought after title of the Taste of Joburg Champions, having gone up against 13 of the top restaurants in Joburg. Chef Hanroe’s Kudu Wellington the now proud Taste of Joburg dish of the show for 2012 is found on his African Inspired Cuisine at the March Restaurant.
