Maharajah (Cape Town)

1 Woodside Road

Cape Town
Western Cape

Maharajah is housed on the ground floor of a block of flats with big windows overlooking the traffic on Kloof Nek Road.
The numerous devotees come from all over - and have done for the past thirty years.
Differing degrees of hotness using both dried red and fresh green chillies ups the ante on meals.
If you want something hotter, order one of the lamb dishes, either on the bone or off, or the lamb rogan josh, slow cooked with yoghurt - but bear in mind that here "hot" means just that!
