Lederle’s coffee shop and bakery are known for their hand-crafted artisan breads, pastries, pies and treats

Lederle’s prides itself on its decadent treats and hearty meals. As well as having buttery croissants and mouth-watering brownies, Lederle’s also has an amazing assortment of freshly-baked artisan breads.

Everything from baguettes to gluten-free… seeded loaves to challah… rolls to rye; whatever your needs, Lederle’s is the place to go!

The Bread
At Lederle’s they love bread. They love making it, baking it, the crispy golden crust, and the soft tender chewy crumb. Oh, and the way it smells when its just come out of the ovens, the sound of the crust crackling as it cools down.

They have worked long and hard to bring you the best bread their hands and hearts can make!

They use the old methods of long fermentation combined with stone ground unbleached flour and the simple procedure of mixing it with water, salt and yeast.

Each loaf is unique as everyone is individually shaped and watched over lovingly by the baker as if they were her own children.

Their Fresh loaf Sandwiches, their Toasted Sandwiches and popular breakfasts -are made with their very own homemade bread.

The great thing is that you don’t have to feel guilty eating white bread anymore because with their wonderful stone ground flour it just s healthy as brown!

The Pastry
The pastry they make themselves at Lederle’s is made using the old tradition French way. Yes it does cost more and takes longer… oh but it is so worthwhile.

The croissants are made using real farm fresh butter and every batch is hand rolled and shaped.

The chocolate croissants are made using the best quality chocolate and the almond ones are filled with a mouth watering pastry cream with the normal croissants make for a perfect breakfast with their home made Jam. They have also tried a few new things unique to their bakery.

They have the Sunday Sticky Bun (which has since become available everyday of the week by popular demand ) a croissant that has a cinnamon orange vanilla syrup rolled into its twists, it is a treat you will come again and again for and the snack croissant which have pastrami, cheese and basil hidden in its wonderful pastry rolls. Their pies and quiches are also made using the best pastry available.
