What I like about this restaurant is that it's so "normal". No pretentiousness, just great food and fantastic ambience. The service can be a bit slow but this is easily forgiven once the food is put down in front of you. We will definitely go back.

Do yourself a favour and go have the pork belly at this place. It's sublime and the owners are supremely hospitable. Nothing's ever a problem and Allan Barnard's choice of music is excellent.

Booked last W-E with my wife for the Spring special R450 per pers lunch dinner B&B. Super Food, friendly and efficient service, comfy accommodation. Unbelievable value for money. Thank you

I have been to kasteelberg bistrot for a birthday with a party of 21 people. This restaurant is the most under rated restaurant I know, their menu is the most interesting diverse and tasty that I happened to experience for a long time( Savoury crepes, Cassoulet, Swartland Stew etc..) I was blown away and still charmed by it.... Long live Kasteelberg Well done!
