Located in the heart of the Breede River Winelands in the
small town of McGregor, Karoux Restaurant owners and Chefs Ryan Josten and

The black board style menu changes constantly depending on the availability of
fresh produce sourced from the area. Their meals are always freshly prepared,
chemical free, and organic where possible. The Chefs prepare small amounts of specific
dishes to guarantee ultimate freshness as well as to keep up to date with the
The twice baked mature cheddar soufflé with a cheese and grappa sauce is a
must-try, and of course you can't visit the Karoo without sampling the local
lambs. For a hearty dish, tuck into a Springbok and Guinness pie, or the
aged sirloin, served with Chef Ryan's famous triple-cooked chips.
