The meal was excellent. We enjoyed the wine and atmosphere. A troupe of traditional singers was a particularly enchanting touch. Try the brandy cake!

Family of four (two adults and two children aged 14 and 11) had a good time the first time in Karibu and tried different food. Four days later we ended back again in the same restaurant as we enjoyed it so much and had another great evening. Xx

Karibu does exactly that--makes you feel welcome. If the excellent selection of wines and diverse range of South African food aren't enough to sway you, the breathtaking view and incredibly friendly service should do the trick. And if it's a chilly night, have no fear, as they provide colourful blankets for just such an occasion. Asante sana, Karibu!

Fab atmosphere and great service. Food spectacular and great to feel like your eating real flavoursome African cuisine. I recommend the specials- crocodile carpaccio is a winner. No doubt be coming back again.

Our waitron Marion was great - timing perfect with our requests, she was cheerful & pleasant. The food was excellent - full of flavour. The wine list was impressive & reasonably priced. We chose a great Chenin Blanc - Groote Point, the best we have tasted so far. Overall an enjoyable dining experience.

We came because it was highly recommended by friends I the Uk and. It certainly did not dissapont ! The staff are excellent, so friendly and helpful, the food is superb and we will be back !

this time it was nice again. Good touristic restaurant with good quality of food. nice wine list and great view on the TM. For South African Food a good restaurant to go, if you are at the waterfront.

Omg amazing feed!! Fantastic attentive service and a GREAT drinks menu. We reccomend the Brie and the springbok shank. We were recommended by a friend and let's just say we rolled out of here full and happy :-)

Myself and some girlfriends decided to celebrate a girlfriends birthday at Karibu this past weekend. The food was absolutely divine, however, the same cannot be said about the shocking service of our waiter who had such an attitude problem and made it seem like even just ordering drinks was a mission. Wont be going back there.
