Drawing inspiration from the typical country French bistro of his homeland, chef patron Christophe Dehosse rules in their kitchen!
His seasonal menu features hearty dishes made from scratch using regional Boland produce, in particular Joostenberg's own farm reared pork. Examples are: charcuterie; mushroom and rocket omelette; goat's cheese baked with tomato, garlic and cream; braised pork cheeks with chorizo and beans; tart Tatin; crème caramel.
The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly with a huge, cosy fireplace in winter and a vine shaded stoep and endless gardens in summer.
