happened to end up at joe's because spur was full. at the end of the evening myself and the family agreed joe's rocks. their burgers, chips & milkshakes are the best.

Really love this retro restaurant! The milkshakes are amazing and the portions really big. Was just a bit annoyed because I had emailed to make a booking a few days prior and when i got there was told no-one had informed the manager. Luckily it got sorted out in the end and the staff went out of their way to make our dining experience a great one! Canal walk needs more interesting restaurants like Joe's

Went to the Blue Route chain last week with an open mind. It was one of the best Chicken burgers i have eaten and the sweet potato fries are life changing!! Apparently i must try the milkshake next time!! Love the bottom of the bill, try us once and you'll be back, so true!!!

What a great burger. True to the image unlike some other chains. Mince was flavored and the filling was, filling. Chips are amazing! Col-slaw had too much Mayo. Will definitely be visiting again ( Canal Walk)

Shew so many negative reviews, I have only been the new canal walk Joe's Diner twice, but both times have had good service and good food, not quite on Hudsons level but a decent burger, very good fries and milkshakes. Nice spot to chill with friends.

Nice theme and atmosphere ... but the food tastes really processed, kinda like MacDonalds, but worse. A Pity.

Having read the reviews, I have to wonder if customers were expecting fine dining or Macdonalds? This place has excellent burgers and milkshakes, and I always leave with a smile - price included. To those who know a fresh, well-made burger when they taste it, definite winner. This place makes my day.

Been to Joe's Easy Diner many times. Love the Place!! Milkshakes are the best in Cape Town, Fries are delicious and the burgers are awesome. Service is excellent, waiters an waitresses are very friendly. Overall experience is always very good. Definitely would recommend!!!

My family and I had lunch @ Blue Route yesterday and to be honest I know for sure I will never go back.The waffle my son ordered was so sweet he could not eat it, the burgers were bland and the coleslaw tasteless all in all the chips were decent. I do not recommend Joe's to anyone and will certainly never set foot there again...Dissapointing on a whole other level!!!

We went to Joe's on saturday had never seen it there and immediately was intrigued by the whole 50's era setup. immediately that facade fell away when we saw the prices for someone that is quite new on the scene to be more expensive than spur is pathetic. food was not good burger was bland as i have noticed people saying. and i also went home hungry. id say for a first time it was ok to check out but id rather go to spur! not anything near a amercian diner!!

Atmosphere average. Their Burgers are like a regular Mac type burger "tasteless" and their milkshakes are a little on the watery side. Overall pricy for what you get. This is not what I expected from a diner

My husband, baby and I went with my parents..we loved the decor , the music, and the service was great! My husband had the Smokey Joe's burger combo and my Mom, Dad and I all had the chicken caesar salads. Salads were great. Husband said his burger was bland...and our milkshakes were nice, but not great - not what you would expect from a Diner..they were all runny and not thick at all. Not in a hurry to go back.

The burgers are tasteless , very similar to a leading fast food take away , For R60 you get the combo WOW a little burger with some some fries and onion rings - the fries were good I'll say that much but we shared a shake , paid R140 and left hungry, i ordered a cheese burger and thats what i got a little patty on a bun with some cheese and lettuce for R35?? Sorry but purely because i know i will leave hungry and the boring burger taste i will not be going back.

It also pushes reputable reviews off the main screen disadvantaging honest restaurants and not allowing customers visiting this site to get honest feedback.I have noticed that on Fridays and Saturdays there is a rush of false reviews.

Had the most awesome breakfast at joes this week. WHAT a way to start your day. Service was impecable and such an authentic vibe! Will definately be back to try the rest of their menu :)

We ate at Joe's Diner on Friday afternoon and we loved the vibe and music. The milkshakes and fries were divine but the burgers and processed onion rings were a letdown. My Chilli cheese burger was topped with very bland chilli con carne and the patty tasted like it needed seasoning. I hope the flavours will improve with time..

The vibe is awesome! But wasn't too impressed with the food, I think I expected too much. The burgers needed more seasoning and the onion rings were still doughy,couldn't taste the onion, but the Milkshakes and Fries as awesome! The services wasn't too good but I also thing the kitchen couldn't keep up as our food took long.
