Went back to Greek last night after a while and the schwama were great. A bit pricy and a too much food; a smaller portion for a bit less would see us go there more. Service very average (had to get up to 'steal' cutlery from a nearby table after our meals were served). We enjoyed the food and while the waitress was friendly she was inexperienced and floor management seemed to be too. No music also did not add to the atmosphere so enticing at many Greek restaurants. An average dining experience that is pricy.

I love going to Greek - I enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere, but I'd like to make a comment/suggestion regarding ordering starters. My husband and I ordered 6 starters the other night expecting 6 separate dishes including all their garnishes, salads and sauces. These dishes, however, came on a platter, with no garnish or sauces, and a few measly lettuce leaves. I am also convinced the portions were smaller than they would have been if served as an individual starter. The meal was still very flavoursome and we enjoyed it, but we felt a bit cheated by this process, and felt that being charged the full price for each of our starters was rather cheeky, since we essentially only got a part of what we ordered.

Although the food and atmosphere is great, I have given up on "Greek". The last time (a year ago) I took out of towners out and cockroaches were trying to get onto our table. The waitrons seemed to be used to them. I though I'd give it another chance about 2 weeks ago. Didn't even get past the front door as we could see a big cockroach sitting on the wall inside from where we were outside. It is a pity. Otherwise it would be totally enjoyable.

Karibu "Karibu is one of my favourite restaurants to pop in for a dinner that never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed with a distinct South African feel that's both elegant and upmarket. The service is friendly and efficient - I always rely on the manager (Bruce) for meal recommendations which thus far has been spot-on, yet I'm sure the menu as a whole is good......"
