Flavey J's in Durban

Restaurant image

Our meals are freshly prepared in a mobile food trailer that has been specifically designed by us. This unique look and feel of the Flavey trailer has made us stand out from the pack and create the hype and buzz that attracts our clients who just cannot resist.

Flavey’s will be specialising in Gatsby’s (gourmet sandwich), mini-gourmet burgers, health rolls, gourmet wors rolls, salads and any meals suggested by our customers. However our menu will also change seasonally but remain loyal to it’s core.

Flavey J’s will also offer a variety of beverages such as: coffee, cold drinks, BOS Ice Tea, water, etc.

When it comes to staying green and saving the planet we aim to become as sustainable as possible in the coming years. The majority of our packaging is biodegradable packaging.

We also take our food waste and convert it into fertiliser using merchandise from an affiliating recycling company based in Sandton. This fertiliser is then donated to local farms who in turn put it back into the earth and start the cycle all over again.

Our entire trailer was built from scratch right here in Durban and so we hope to keep all that we do local. With all this our trailer will stand out from the rest and so will the freshness of our food.

All of our produce is supplied from KZN local markets so as to keep our loyalty as well as to support local business.

We have worked at, and plan to be working:
The Notties Escape Market
The KZN Christmas Market
Pet Shop Boys at Moses Mabhida
Litchi Party
NOVA Outdoor Electronic Music Festival
The Umhlanga Food & Music Festival
Umhlanga NYE Party
Party in the Park
Up coming events:
Chris Brown
Sharks Markets
Midmar Mile
Splashy Fen
Fun in The Sun
Private catering functions
