Cape Town's best Tex-Mex since 1998.
The menu includes the usual:  fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and nachos.
Platters and jugs of frozen margaritas are great for groups.

Used to be a regular at this restaurant till about two years ago, when a new owner took over. The quality of the food took a nosedive, and the prices escalated beyond well beyond the value of the food. I also object to the waitrons always recommending the most expensive platters

On Sunday 1 March, four of us went to the Fat cactus for an early supper. Three people chose burgers and one had calamari. Each of us had eaten a couple of mouthfuls of our meals, when one of our party discovered a mangled CHICKEN WING in the ostensibly 100% beef burger (which they apparently make themselves). We spoke to the manager who agreed to waive the food part of the bill. However, we wanted an explanation as to how a chicken wing could wind up in a burger. Despite anding over his business card and a promise that a follow up would be done by the owner, Not a peep has been heard almost a week later. We won't be back
