    I went there the other night with some girlfriends and was v surprised by it. A very gorgeous interior and the service is good although the Thai waitresses couldn't understand everyhting we asked for. Good, simple fare. Not over complicated and I loved the dim sum - try the open prawn parcels - v yum. Will be back for more.

    Well I'm not exactly rolling on the floor in 'ohmigod awesome' orgasms, but we had a more than pleasant meal at Erawan on Friday night. The food is really very good indeed - well-cooked, tasty, nicely-seasoned, standard Thai fare and the prices are more than reasonable. They also coped extremely well with a very large party behind us and never let anything slip through the net - which is not always as easy as it sounds. Very charming staff, lovely food and I can walk to it were the highlights of the evening. Downside is the wine list but I understand they are getting it fixed. Oh and my husband says that whilst they are at it, could they get some Singha beer in too! Very nice night out, will definitely be back.

    Went last night. Absolutely blown away. The most delicious meal I have had for a long time, and the prices are so low,I felt embarrassed paying. I could eat the dim sum by the bucket load. The best Thai I have ever had. Great service. Only slight negative is a very small unimaginative wine list. They could do with at least one chenin blanc......But that aside, I could be a very happy table boarder here.

    I have been to Erawan twice now & thoroughly enjoyed both occasions - the food was excellent, the ambience lovely & your staff & front of house girls delightful & the Thai ethic of service is very obviously there from the moment you enter the restaurant,

    So great to have a new Thai Restaurant that has delicious food, most attentive service, varied menu and all at affordable prices - no wonder they are full all the time.

    Ambiance and setting is beautiful, let down by very poor service. The food is good but plates not being cleared, wine not being poured etc... does not add to the experience. When we brought this to the managers attention she did comp the desserts however overall we left feeling neglected.

    The food is fantastic, the service is very good, and everything is very reasonably priced compared to other Thai restaurants in Cape Town. Definitely a must if you are in the Wynberg area.

    We live nearby and have been going non stop snce it opened! Really great service, and their dumplings are fantastic!

    The ambiance is fantastic. You are welcomed with such friendliness. Excellent service and polite waitresses. The food was delicious and very well presented. Value for money. A must do in Wynberg!!!!
