We recently had the pleasure of dining at this little gem of a restaurant. The owner, Jason, told us that they are 25 years old! I have to say I had the best pizza I have had in years. Planning on going back regularly!

We visited your restaurant on Saturday evening 25/8/12. We were a party of 6 people, two of who are visitors from overseas. We ordered pizzas - at R110 I expected something decent. The base was thin and crisp, that's where the compliments end. The topping of "parma ham" and mozzarella were sparse. I could have made a better pizza at home, with one hand tied behind my back. The "veal Saltimbucca" was an embarrassment. The meat was overcooked and dry, the onion and vegetable was swimming in oil. The service was lousy and slow, we had to wave our arms in the air to catch the attention of our waiter. The music was too loud. The food was way overpriced. We brought our own wine and paid R50 corkage - I have no problem with this, but we were given cheap thick rimmed glasses because we didn't buy our wine from the restaurant. Other customers were given quality glasses. I will never eat at this restaurant again and neither will my friends.

I had the opportunity to come to dinner at your restaurant last monday night. These are my comments: Your decor is really lovely, and I do like the setting and convenience. The interior is very cold if you are not near a heater, and the little blower heater that was there was conveniently seconded to another table by those guests. The 2 men asked for different pastas for their Puttanesca – they both came with spaghetti when one should have been penne. No cheese/chilli etc. was put on the table and we had to ask for cheese half way through our meal. I asked for salad dressing on the side, but salad arrives covered in dressing. I had the asparagus starter – the bread or pine nuts were stale, it was the most awful meal I have had in a long time. I doused it in balsamic and the extra cheese that eventually came to the table to make it palatable. All in all, very disappointing evening, except for the company at the table. I doubt I will return.
