We had a birthday celebration there last night (31st March 2013). What an awful place. They cant make sole to save their lives - got a greyish, soggy piece of fish. Their presentation also leaves a lot to be desired. You'll get a better meal at McDonalds. Will not be going there again. Dreadful place. Also, the prices on their website are not the prices on the menu!

7 of us met at the restaurant on a Friday night-sat down, ordered some drinks and chatted for a while so the expereience started off well-enough. Then we realised the waiter was completely incapable of taking a food and drink order at the same time and didn't seem to be able to much else either. Although the drinks arrived quickly we had to wait and wait and wait for bread for the table and he didn't sem interested in taking our food orders at all. Out of the 7 of us, 5 people wanted meals while 2 of us wanted something small and were there more for the company but it was only when the waiter was (finally) taking our orders that he pointed out the fine print on the menu. A ZAR100 COVER WILL BE CHARGED PER PERSON IF THEY DON"T ORDER A MAIN MEAL!!!!!!! Although this was written inside the menu I feel it's the restaurants moral obligation to tell you this BEFORE they seat you as most people don't look at the menu in detail within the first few seconds and before they've ordered a drink. Many of the main meals were also less than ZAR100 in price and the fact ordering a salad or 2 starters and dessert etc will still mean you have to pay the extra amount makes this charge completely unfair and ridiculous. We complained to the manager immediately and his reaction was "here's your bill, please leave". The manager's reaction was the most shocking thing about the service, the restaurant wasn't full, no-one was waiting to get in but he told a table of 7 people to leave when-if he'd just allowed someone to order a salad-he would have had a pretty decent bill to give us and made a lot more money. We will not be going there again!
