Bottega (or ‘Little Workshop’ in Italian) opened in June of 2006 and has fast grown in popularity ever since. Open from the early hours of the morning for superb breakfasts until the last person leaves after a meal from the ever-changing chalkboard dinner menu, Bottega enjoys a wealth of regulars from in and around the trendy Parkhurst area.

An authentic barber shop (encapsulating the antique nature of the suburb) is the next building block in in owner Saverio’s empire. “Roma-Paris” was first established in Braamfontein 43 years ago with a migration and revival occurring over the past few months and finally, “Roma Paris” graces Parkhurst with its prescence. Quintessentially man, one can enjoy a traditional shave using original cutthroat razor methods coupled with a haircut minus the electric version of the old-style scissors. All of this while watching the game on one of the numerous plasma screens, enjoying a fine cedar wood-infused cigar or browsing the exceptional selection of single malts on sale.

I'm Italian. I eat pasta a lot. Hands down my best pasta and Italian food joint in Joburg. The food is outta bounce! Just don't tell my Nonna (grandma). The drinks selection is amazing and service up 2 par. Would highly recommend if you are looking for the taste of Italy.
