Black Sam Smoque is devoted to the love of meat.
With their mobile smoker cookers they've pioneered American style BBQ in braai-crazy South Africa. Having started with an awe-inspiring food trailer, they have since set up residency at the The Shed@1Fox. Wherever, and whenever, they pop-up in Johannesburg their mission is to spread the gospel of 'que (that's short for barbeque).
When it comes to meat and customer service, they are tireless in their dedication.
Their cooking philosophy can be summarised as "low and slow" - a reference to the low, Kameeldoring and Mopani wood infused smoking process of preparing the meat which can take anything up to 12 hours.
