Like most Capetonians we leave things till the very last second, and on June 14, our 5th Wedding anniversary was no exception - suddenly it arrived, and we were two hours short of all dressed up with no reservation anywhere! We went there and what luck a table! And as full and as late as it was, nothing was too much trouble. We each had the five course tasting menu and that worked out to 10 different dishes to share. Thanks Chef for making the exception and allowing extra tasting at such short notice.
Service was impeccable - It's hard to find fault and the staff are friendly and clearly enjoy what they do very much. The cherry on top was Happy Anniversary personalised petite fours. And the food? I honestly went expecting not a lot, but I was incredibly impressed with the flair and imagination and the flavours.
It was an unforgettable evening. Thank You. We will be back.
