A real Moroccan feel with the decor... the ambience... and the traditional food. De-Lish. Fabulous is definately Fabulous!

Fantastic food at a fabulous restaurant! Your chicken tangine was delicious and your cream cramel is one of the best!

Im quite saddened to see a review like Nitasha's. I think the review was very graphic and unfair. Well done to Anthony and his team. Everything from the decor down to the mint tea was superb. I will definitely go back.

What a "fabulous" experience. The food was delicous , if you enjoy sharing a meal go for the platters they well worth it. Anthony is a wonderful host, our food wasn't rushed so we enjoyed a long, relaxing dinner. Thank you Anthony and staff. Ladies this restuarant is the perfect venue for a small, romantic wedding.

From the moment you enter Fabulous the delight on your senses is something to behold. I have been to Fabulous for romantic dinners, family occasions and rowdy girls nights outs, and on every occasion is has surpassed expectation. From exceptional ambience to variety of menu to flavoursome food and personal service, I've never had a dissappointing experience. For a truly unique dining experience (which is difficult to come by in Durban with so many good restaurants becoming "franchised") Fabulous truly is decandant dining.

I found this restaurant on their website...very impressive...the thing that was most disappointing to me, was that they created this atmosphere on their site, that was absolutely stunning, just like a harem...rose petals strewn on the floors and a rosewater bowl at the entrance to wash your hands before your meal. There was no sign of this! When I asked the waiter serving us about it, he said, he would organise something for us, but never did.I also ordered a hookah pipe after the meal, but never got it. The food was good, but the atmosphere was non existent and the service was shoddy.

food is best in Durban! Ant the owner was so accomodating to my gluten intolerance...the only real moroccan restaurant I know..the food flavours and presentation is excellant the atmosphere is superb. go on a saturday night and be entertained with belly dancer's or just stop in for a hectic cocktail on the balcony...yummy stuff. I love the place..ambiance great.

Nick, this place is about opinions. I respect your opion, so if you like terrible food, then that fine with me. Get over it.

A group of us went to Fabulous for a birthday dinner, and all I can say is wow! Great food, great decor and great atmosphere. Since we were a group we had the set menu. Each meal brought out the exotic flavours of Morocco, and was beautifully presented. There was a wide selection to choose from, ranging from tabbouleh salads, couscous, lamb, chicken, seafood all subtly flavoured with the earthy tastes of cumin, fennel and coriander. I particularly enjoyed the lamb with fig, very unsual but great flavour. If you enjoy something different this is definitely the place to go. People like Nitasha should rather stick to the burgers at Spur as they have no clue what good cuisine is about.

I went with a large group of people who also had responses like mine. I think the food is pathetic. Don't go here if you are sceptical about trying unusual things. Everyone is blinded by the decor and the whole Morroccan theme. No thank you, I like good food. A pretty looking restaurant doesn't satify my hunger. I had a so called lamb shank with chick pea's which upon its arrival, looked fit for my dog, which is exactly what I did. I put it in a doggy bag and took it for my dog. The rose daquiri was nice, but that was it. I went home with an empty stomach, but my dog was happy at least.
