  • 400
    roll Puff pastry (store bought)
  • 1
    bag mini marshmallows
  • 1/2
semi-sweet chocolate chips or 50 g dark Lindt chocolate (roughly chopped)
Servings: Change Serving

Preheat the waffle iron until really hot.

Divide the pastry into 6 equal sized squares. Three will form the base and the remaining three will be the lids.

Place about a tablespoon of chocolate in the center of each base pastry followed by a handful of marshmallows. Top with a pastry lid and press the edges together lightly to seal.

Place in the waffle iron and close the lid without pressing down too firmly. The idea is to leave room for the pastry to puff up. Toast for several minutes until the chocolate is melted and the pastry is golden.

Dust with powered sugar and bam! The croissant puff pastry s'mores waffle.

Tip of the day

Basic basil care
Basil wilts quickly, but will perk up when left in cool water for about 30 minutes. Then blot the leaves dry and store them at room temperature in a tightly sealed bag. If basil is stored in the refrigerator, it turns black.
