Zesty almond-stuffed plums

  • 40
    g
    butter
  • 25
    g
    soft brown sugar
  • 50
    g
    ground almonds
  • 1
    lemon
    grated zest of 1 lime or lemon
  • 25

    flaked almonds, toasted
  • 250
    ml
    Bulgarian yoghurt

Oven temperature: 180°C
1. Cut the plums in half and remove the stones.

2. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in the almonds and the lime or lemon zest.

3. Place the plums in a greased baking dish, skin side down, and spoon the topping into each one. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until tender. Serve warm with the yoghurt. Variation Use the grated zest of half an orange instead of the lime or lemon zest.
