Yummy Easter eggs

  • 125
    g
    butter, softened
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • 10
    ml
    vanilla essence
  • 200
    g
    sweetened Nestlé condensed milk
  • 730
    g
    icing sugar
  • few drops yellow food colouring
  • melted chocolate
 

Method

 
Beat together butter, salt and vanilla essence. Add condensed milk and icing sugar. Knead until smooth. Set aside two thirds of the mixture. Add a few drops of yellow food colouring to the remaining third. Shape into small balls. Mould the white mixture around the yellow ball to form egg shapes. Set aside to harden for 24 hours. Dip in melted chocolate to coat and allow chocolate to set.
