Yorkshire Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1
    cup
    cake flour
  • 1
    cup
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • 6
    sausages
  • Onion gravy to serve
 

Method

25 mins
 
Sift the flour, add the milk and the eggs and whisk well until smooth.
Leave the batter to rest for at least 30 minutes, put the batter into a jug for easier pouring especially if using a muffin tray.
Oil whatever container you are using (coat the sides as well) and put into the hot oven until the oil starts to smoke a little.
Pour in the batter and quickly place the cooked (but not too brown) sausages on top.
Serve with onion gravy.
