    butter
  • 250
    ml
    sugar
  • 2
    egg yolks, beaten
  • 530
    g
    cake flour
  • 3
    ml
    salt
  • 45
    ml
    white wine
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 220 ºC (450 ºF). Line a few baking sheets with baking paper or spray with non-stick spray or grease well. Cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg yolks, beating well. Sift the flour and salt together and add to the butter mixture, followed by the wine. Mix well. Leave in the fridge for 10 minutes before rolling out. Cut out shapes with a cookie cutter and arrange on the baking sheets. Bake for about 10 minutes until straw-coloured and done. Cool slightly on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container. Makes about 113 cookies, depending on the size of the cookie cutter.
