    wholewheat flour
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • 10
    g
    instant yeast
  • 125
    ml
    oil
  • 1
    Litres
    lukewarm water
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350°). Spray two 11 x 29 x 8 cm loaf tins with non-stick spray. Combine the wholewheat flour and salt in a mixing bowl and sprinkle the instant yeast on top. Add the oil and lukewarm water and mix well with a wooden spoon. Turn the dough mixture into the greased loaf tins. Cover with plastic and leave to rise in a warm place until doubled in volume. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Turn the loaf out on a wire rack and cool slightly before serving. Makes 2 medium-sized loaves.
