Warm plum pie

    plums
  • 250
    ml
    water
  • 125
    ml
    sugar
  • 200
    g
    (1/2 roll) readymade puff pastry
 

Method

 
Preheat oven to 180 °C.
Place plums, water and sugar in a pan.
Put the lid on top and gently simmer for 15 minutes, turning them once or twice.
Cut pastry into four pieces with a sharp knife.
Slightly score a border of about 4 cm around.
Place on a greased baking tray.
Bake the squares for 20 minutes or until puffy and golden.
Spoon a couple of warm plums onto each piece and serve with scoops of fruity ice cream or sorbet.
