Waffle dough

Ingredients

  • 3
    cup
    flour
  • 3
    tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    tsp
    salt
  • 1/2
    cup
    sugar
  • 1 1/2
    cup
    milk
  • 3
    Tbs
    melted butter
  • 3
    eggs, seperated
 

Method

20 mins
 
Sift the dry ingredients together.
Mix the egg yolks, milk and butter together.
Add to the dry ingredients and whisk till smooth (it should be a thick batter).
Beat the egg whites till silky smooth.
Fold into the batter gently.
Get your waffle pan nice and hot.
Add a little butter to the pan and add just enough dough.
Cook till golden and enjoy hot.
Top with ingredients of your choice.
