Vienna sausage and bacon and bacon tart

    back bacon, chopped
  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
  • 310

    vienna sausages, sliced
  • 410
    g
    Nestlé Ideal Evaporated Milk
  • 2
    extra-;large eggs, beaten
  • 1
    ml
    dried mustard powder
  • salt, ground black pepper and a pinch of red pepper
  • 315
    ml
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 10
    ml
    freshly chopped parsley
  • 1
    prepared pastry crust
 

Method

 
Line an aluminium foil tin with the prepared crust, prick and leave until needed. Heat a pan and fry the bacon in its fat. Remove the bacon and fry the onion until soft and fragrant (add oil if needed). Mix with the remaining ingredients and spoon into the crust. Bake for 40 to 60 minutes at 180 °C until golden brown and set. Serve warm. Makes a large savoury tart.
