Vegetables au gratin

    mixed vegetables of your choice
  • 1
    packet instant cheese sauce
  • boiling water
  • 125
    fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 100
    grated Cheddar cheese

Slice the vegetables and layer them in a greased ovenproof dish. Empty the instant cheese sauce mix into a measuring jug and fill up to the 250 ml mark with boiling water. Whisk for one minute until smooth. Pour over the vegetables and top with a mixture of the breadcrumbs and cheese. Bake in preheated 180 °C oven for 40 minutes. Serve as an accompaniment with the main meal or as a vegetarian alternative.
