Valentine's oysters with toppings

Ingredients

  • WASABI AND GINGER TOPPING
  • 10
    ml
    wasabi paste
  • 5
    ml
    freshly grated ginger
  • 30
    ml
    freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
  • 2
    ml
    sugar
  • 1
    red chilli, seeded and sliced into thin strips (optional)
  • COCONUT AND LIME TOPPING
  • 45
    ml
    shaved fresh coconut, torn into smaller pieces
  • 45
    ml
    freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 10
    ml
    sesame oil
  • 1
    lime, the peel, sliced into thin strips (optional)
  • salt to taste
 

Method

 
WASABI AND GINGER TOPPING
Mix ingredients together and drizzle over oysters just before serving.

COCONUT AND LIME TOPPING
Toss ingredients together and place a small amount on top of each oyster.
