Turmeric and poppy seed cookies

    cup
    almond flour
  • 1
    tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1
    tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1
    pinch
    salt
  • 1
    tsp
    baking soda
  • 2
    tsp
    poppy seeds
  • 4
    Tbs
    coconut oil
  • 3
    Tbs
    honey
  • 2
    tsp
    ground turmeric
 

Method

Preheat oven to 180ºC. Mix together the dry ingredients in a bowl. In another bowl, combine the honey and coconut oil. Add this to the dry ingredients and mix until you achieve a pliable dough consistency. 

Shape the dough into small balls and place on a greased baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes and then leave to cool before removing from the tray.
