Turkey kebabs with avocado spread

Ingredients

  • 4
    boneless turkey breasts, cut into strips
  • MARINADE
  • 60
    ml
    sesame or canola oil
  • 60
    ml
    sweet chilli sauce
  • 3
    drops fish or oyster sauce
  • 3
    ml
    fresh ginger, grated
  • 30
    ml
    fresh coriander
 

Method

10 minutes
 
Place the turkey strips in a non-metal dish.
Blend the ingredients for the marinade and pour over the turkey.
Leave for 30 minutes.
Remove the meat from the sauce and thread onto 8 kebab skewers (that have been soaked in water).
Cook over the coals or in a griddle pan until done.
Baste frequently with the sauce.
Serve with avocado spread:
Mash 1 peeled avocado with 50 ml chopped fresh coriander, the juice of 1 lemon, 200 ml plain yoghurt and 1 chopped red chilli.
Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
