Ingredients (11)

170.00 g tuna in brine — solid pack
15.00 ml oil
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
1.00 green pepper — cut into strips
2.00 celery stalks — chopped
75.00 g button mushrooms — sliced
1.00 ml ginger — ground
30.00 ml water
30.00 ml soy sauce
45.00 ml sweet chilli sauce
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Open the can of tuna, drain the brine and flake.
Heat the oil and sauté; the garlic until fragrant. Add the pepper strips and celery and sauté; for one minute. Add the mushroom slices and sauté; until soft. Add the ginger and sauté; until fragrant.
Add the water, soy sauce and chilli sauce and bring to the boil. Add the flaked tuna and stir until mixed. Simmer until heated through and the sauce thickens slightly.
Serve immediately on rice or pasta.
